Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy, and expensive and you probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

We Love This Refrigerator!

Submitted by Dale - 11/19/2021

we love our 33" counter depth french door stainless steel samsung refrigerator! the freezer holds a lot of food and we always have plenty of ice. we have learned to how to arrange our food to fit our needs in this small size refrigerator. large shelves don't adjust but for a small refigerator we can fit a ton of food inside it. i purchased a plastic rectangle shape gallon jug from dollar store to hold ice tea in one large bottom shelf in the door and the other larger bottom shelf holds our gallon of milk. large juices we can lay on their side. eggs we put in third shelf up in door. the refrigerator works great!

Freezer doesn't work

Submitted by Bernice - 10/27/2021

the freezer has given us trouble since the first week, but at first we were able to fix it by power cycling. a month before our warranty ended, we noticed the freezer was warm even though the temperature sensor read -2. we called samsung on sept. 10 (our warranty ended sept. 30), and they scheduled a repair, which was delayed until sept. 25. they replaced the electronics given what they had on hand instead of assessing the issue. by the time we were able to get ahold of samsung to schedule a followup, it was a few days past our warranty, so they refused to pay. it seems this is a common problem with samsung fridges, and the cost to fix it can be more than the cost of the fridge.

Disappointed. Fan broke; 3 yrs old; $500 to repair

Submitted by wscott44 - 9/23/2021

we use our refrigerator as a normal household refrigerator freezer. we do not love anything about it because it is just 3 years old and needs a major repair. the technician said samsung and lg are notorious for this problem. after this is fixed, we will get a whirlpool and give this away to a needy family who could use it after losing a lot in hurricane ida. this thing has french doors and internal drawers. we cannot get to any drawer without opening both doors.

JUNK

Submitted by WildBill - 9/23/2021

should have paid attention to what everyone says about samsung refrigerators. 3 yrs old and water leaks into and below crispers. liner is cracked on both sides and unrepairable and out of warranty. many reviews for this model with same complaint. i guess samsung doesn't feel like it's worth addressing because you can still purchase this piece of junk.

Everyone in my house hates this refrigerator

Submitted by Heather - 9/2/2021

do not buy. buy anything else!! the shelves do not adjust for the top or middle to be used for normal soze drinks. the ice maker drops ice behind the freezer and it is inaccessible to clean. freezer stopped working and had to be replaced. but the most annoying part is the doors do not close without force. force no fridge ahould need. samsung clearly knew this was an issue bc they put a bell on it that dings incessanty when the fridge is not closed all the way. everytime i have guests, they always have issues getting the door to shut. i hate it. this fridge is full of headaches for so many. i do not reccomend this brand. steer clear. their customer service is less than helpful.

Totally Unreliable Refrigerator

Submitted by kzelda - 2/12/2021

this refrigerator is attractive, and well laid out. unfortunately i have had one problem with it after another. within the first 3 years and while still under extended warranty i had it serviced 7 times to stop water from freezing under the crisper drawers. finally got that solved. later produce started freezing in crisper drawers. now water is freezing under the freezer drawer. it's 5 years old but problems started within months of purchase and don't stop.

Coils in fridge ice up

Submitted by Coldfridge - 1/17/2021

coils behind the panel in the fridge ice up. the defrost coil is not strong enough or designed to sufficiently allow ice condensation to melt and drain into the evaporator pan underneath the freezer. this allows ice to build on the back wall of the fridge and then drop directly from the back cover into the vegetable doors below. this leads to siginificant water accumulation (or ice) in the bottom drawers and shelf. ice and melted condensation in vegetable drawers is a constant headache and leads to great regret for spenging $1,400 on a fridge that will ruin your produce and require constant heavy cleaning

A dud

Submitted by Maria - 12/25/2020

looks nice and it was the right size for our kitchens (we have 2 of this same model for our multifamily house). we made the mistake of buying all samsung appliances. 1. poor storage space 2. the freezer handle broke within the year or purchase 3. pricey fridge that hasnt even lasted 4 years. both fridges are having the same issue where there is a water leak collecting at the bottom. its just a constant clean up of a puddle. sadly this is a known samsung issue with this fridge. the condensation hose is too small but samsung hasnt fixed it. we also had a problem with one of the convection oven/microwaves we have. i battled samsung for months. they have the worst most useless customer service. stay away

Listen to reviews-fizzled out @ 18 months

Submitted by Annie - 12/18/2020

despite the bad reviews, we bought this fridge because it was the only model that fit the space we have in our tiny cabin. it worked fine (for 18 months) until 2-3 weeks ago when the freezer temp dropped and then stopped working altogether. haven't been able to get it back. we've called a dozen repair places and none of them will touch samsungs. all of the the repair folks recommend staying away from samsung fridges altogether. very frustrated and disappointed.

Condensation forming inside

Submitted by Joe P - 12/10/2020

i purchased all new samsung appliances 2 years ago (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven). now two of the appliances have problems. this fridge has waster condensation forming inside due to the back freezing and not properly draining. i've seen online that this happens to many people. very frustrating that after only 2 years the appliance is starting to have issues. hopefully i can get it resolved under warranty.

Submitted by Howard in PA - 12/7/2020

got ours just before the thanksgiving holidays when our old unit tanked. very happy with it. i like the simple temp and settings display. this has solved a food storage problem for our family. we heard that others have had issues with the ice making water leaking? haven't connected that feature yet. may not - the samsung is fine just cooling and freezing foods.

Defective Samsung Refrigerator

Submitted by Jeff - 12/2/2020

i purchased the samsung refrigerator about 5 years ago and began having problems after one year of ownership when the interior refrigerator bins began filling with water. then the interior walls began to develop ice and the ice maker stops working soon after the ice develops. i have to empty the refrigerator and freezer every few months to let it thaw out because the refrigerator stops cooling. it appears the defrost functiin has stopped working.

this model is defective and leaks water in the fridge. it does not cool properly upon addressing the issue with samsung. the haven't made a fix or a replacement or reimbursement the fridge is 5 months old and within a week we experienced problems . the repair person the samsung sends looks up youtube videos on how to fix fridges. the samsung executives are unresponsive and unhelpful. this fridge should have been pulled off the market years ago. these strings of reviews or so specific to a constant issues their fridges are having.

Submitted by Andraya - 11/22/2020

my fridge that i just bought in august never stops making ice i have so much ice i give some to my aunt. the fridge only has on setting for the ice maker other then that you have to completely shut it off for it to stop. i spend alot of time cleaning my freezer because the ice goes on the bottom of the freezer when it is over filling the ice tray.. i don't understand why it does not stop making ice when its full. you would think for a $1,300 fridge that the ice maker would know when not to make ice.

ICE MAKER FAILED

Submitted by Kyle - 11/12/2020

my ice maker overflowed with water creating an ice block in the ice cube tray. preventing me from opening up my freezer tray. in order to open it i had to unplug and let the ice block and over flow ice melt. this cause approx 500$ is food losses. when it did melt and i could open it the ice cube tray was in the cube box and an wire is stuck into he ice block..... you need to send me all the parts to replace the ice cube maker for a model: rf18hfenbsr. feel free to include 500$ check to cover the losses of the food. and this is not from poor use of the ice machine. it has only been used for about 1 year to date.

Leaks water into produce bins

Submitted by GPrince - 10/21/2020

I've had this refrigerator for three years now. There is water/ice beneath the produce drawer. This ruins your produce (it's frozen). It must be manually defrosted about one a month. I've tried the various online fixes without success. I would not recommend that you purchase this refrigerator.

Submitted by Julie - 10/4/2020

i love this counter depth refrigerator. i had limited space for width and didn't want the refrigerator to stick out past my kitchen counters. i renovated my kitchen a couple of years ago but hadn't replaced the refrigerator yet. this one looks beautiful, has plenty of space inside. it has an automatic ice maker, but i didn't hook it up because of the hard water.

Submitted by bmyers - 9/24/2020

the coils on the refrigerator constantly freeze up which keeps it from cooling. if you try to reach customer service you will be put into a never endling loop that leads nowhere. we have struggled with this appliance for five years and are replacing it tomorrow with a kitchenaid refrigerator.

Disappointed

Submitted by SueEllen61 - 9/21/2020

i told salesperson i wanted a larger fridge (had an 18 cu ft prev). she brought me to this fridge and my fault for not noticing it was listed as 18 (but is actually only 17.51). delivery was uneventful. but then i started to fill it. i cannot fit a reg sized bottle of ketchup on any shelf. only three small jars of anything fit in door bins. can only fit two sticks of butter in keeper. my brita pitcher barely fits in the door. im stuck with this fridge, but im so annoyed that regular items do not fit. my older one had to go, but i could fit so much more in it.

great looking fridge, weak seal

Submitted by natP - 9/20/2020

being in a condo with limited counter space i had to go with this fridge that in not as deep as most. it looks great. i love the convenience of the double door and freezer at bottom. however, the rubber seal in between the 2 door has peeled off within 6 month of use. i did not think it was a big deal but now i see condensation building. then when i open the left door water drips on the floor. i am not happy about that. i wish this could be warranty for a few years because it is not a big expense for the company and it is getting lots of use... the fridge a noisy moments too. i did not hook up the ice maker and it still proceed to make the noise even though the button is off.

Lost a loyal customer

Submitted by Miss Kitty - 9/12/2020

I have purchased 3 of these for different properties. The 6 year old fridge is operating ok. The new 1.5 year old one? NOT SO MUCH Regarding my previous review of problems with this 1.5 year old fridge, gaskets have mold, freezer compartment is icing up, water collecting under crisper drawers in fridge: Today, After 45 minutes on the phone with 4 different reps, was told I could sign up for their repair service.. When I asked if Samsung had addressed the above issues, so that I might purchase another one for a rental house, that was the answer I was given. I will not buy any Samsung fridge again. Very disappointed. In addition, impossible to get any contact info for corporate to let them know. Hey CEO!! Do you CARE??

Terrible Experience

Submitted by Mainer - 9/3/2020

purchasing this refrigerator has been the worst appliance decision i have made. the coils have frozen up over and over which makes the fan loud and eventually stop all together. i have had to defrost the unit several times. i thought i had it fixed by replacing the drain hole defroster but shortly after installing it the unit froze over again. a $1200 appliance should last more than a couple of years. generally pleased with other samsung products but this has been a big let down.

Samsung RF18HFENBSR review…

Submitted by Manny - 8/30/2020

my wife and i bought this refrigerator a little under a year ago and started having problems with it less than a year after we bought it. the refrigerator is set to its recommended settings since it was delivered to us. however as of earlier this month, the fridge part of the refrigerator hasn't been cooling – and it seems like the fan that circulates the cool air throughout the cabin is not working thus causing the temperature to increase in the cabin. now, my groceries and other items are spoiling. we should not be having refrigerator problems less than a year after purchasing it. i will never purchase another samsung product again. model number: rf18hfenbsr/us serial number: **********327n

Broke a month out of too short 1 year warranty

Submitted by David - 8/18/2020

this thing broke a month after the warranty expired. the freezer stopped working, presumably the thermostat. it gets warm and will only work again if you turn off its power (very hard to do, either have to move the whole thing to unplug or use the circuit breaker) to reset it. i have done this 3 times in the past month, and the frequency seems to be increasing. avoid.

Submitted by MaMabea - 8/10/2020

after reading krisbert's review, i was horrified because my inner freezer front started getting frosted. i only have had it since july 23, 2020! is this a flaw or what? replaceable? i did not have the water dispenser hooked up. my last fridge was a ge profile that lasted me for 15 years+.

Excellent product super energy-efficient

Submitted by Chris - 7/24/2020

my samsung rf18 works extremely well. it uses very little electricity as a result of the inverter compressor which is very efficient. you have to get used to the fact that this type of system doesn't recover from having the door open quite as quickly as a regular compressor but it really doesn't make any difference, it keeps things very cold. it makes ice unbelievably quickly. the freezer is below zero at all times. it is also very quiet. the lighting is great. i do find that the refrigerator section is a couple of degrees lower temperature than the setting, but that's no big deal i just set it two degrees lower. i've had no trouble with water or icing.

Submitted by HKIM - 6/25/2020

i bought this samsung frenchdoor refrigerator from homedepot as our second refrigerator. i plugged in the power, waited over 24 hrs to cool but never worked. both the fridge and the freezer doesn't work. contacted samsung service and was told to wait 48 hours. what kind of refrigerator needs 2 days to cool? never buy this refrigerator! after calling service again a service technician is now coming a week later.

All around a horrible product

Submitted by Jules - 6/22/2020

We have had nothing but trouble with this appliance from day one. I have tried multiple arrangements with the shelves but no "design" works efficiently. In other words if you wasn't to put a half gallon of milk on the top shelf, forget about it, it won't fit. The way I have it set up so I am able to use the top shelf, eliminated the small drawer for cheeses butter etc. The first time I opened the freezer drawer I thought it was a joke. It is SO shallow that it won't fit a frozen pizza. Better eat it the day you get it. The ice maker is very loud, especially at night. The crisper drawers CONSTANTLY have a puddle of water at the bottom of them. I had it serviced and the tech told me the drain line was frozen because of the dust in the back. I removed the panel in the back, cleaned all the dust, emptied my fridge so I could shut it off to thaw out for three days to be able to "drain properly" After refilling and restarting my fridge the puddles returned immediately back in the crisper and behind/under the crispers. The doors don't close properly then mold starts to get on the rubber seal. Seriously. Do not buy this product. If you absolutely need a counter depth fridge, this is not the one for you. Keep searching.

The freezer keeps dropping in temperature.

Submitted by Salvatore - 6/18/2020

this refrigerator looks nice, but that's about it. for some reason (at least once a week), the freezer drops in temperature. the ice begins to melt, and the food begins to thaw. whenever the temperature returns to the appropriate level, the ice freezes into one big block. i'm not sure why this keeps happening and i have been unable to get answers.

Beautiful Fridge but comes with problems

Submitted by SILVIA - 6/11/2020

i bought this fridge in 2016 and a little after a year the fridge started to act up it doesn't cool properly because the coils freeze up badly. every 3-5 months i have to thaw it out in order for the fridge to cool again. i don't plan to buy any samsung fridge in the future because this fridge has been a headache for us. i wish i could get my money back for it. samsung makes good phones but not fridges.

Good refrigerator, bad ice maker

Submitted by Penny - 6/2/2020

the ice maker has gone rogue. it makes excessive ice which spills over the edges of the tray and spills to the bottom of the freezer requiring me to "sweep out" the ice every few days.
