Our full size upright freezer stopped working unbeknownst to us. Went to several big box stores only to find that none of them have full size upright freezers in stock to pick out pick up and go. Could get in a few days from the warehouse. Could not wait. This model was the largest in stock ready to purchase and take home. Unit works great. Would recommend if this size fits your needs. Also would recommend any LG product as have tried various LG products throughout time.

We have a very small home and had a chest type freezer tucked away under the stairs. Being short under five feet my wife had a difficult time reaching frozen items on the bottom and sometimes food on the bottom went unseen and forgotten and ultimately thrown away. Not good Our LG 5.8 fit perfectly under the stairs and within the framework and now with all the shelving our frozen food is right there where it can be seen and not forgotten. No more wasted food We cant say enough good about this freezer.

We recently signed up for Butcher Box so we have a lot of meats that need to be frozen. Since I have a disabled back I needed something that I could store upright. Weve had the chests before and if you are on the short side its difficult to get stuff that gets burried on the bottom. This freezer prevents that from happening. Everything is so easily accessible. It doesnt take up as much floor space as the chest freezes as well.

I bought 2 of these. Neither one works. They keep popping the circuit breakers. LG sent their repairman. They cannot be repaired. They will be replacing them in 2 months.

The thing was so cheaply put together like it was done in a hurry with extra parts an old design the door gives it a very attractive look but everything behind it is garbage. Theres no way theres a smart inverter compressor running this thing as the sticker on the door claims. Its as noisy as any old cooler your grandfather had in his shop. Id like to know how these other reviewers supposedly I appreciate how it leans so far back full justement it hurts almost laying down on the ground I had to put a couple of two-by-fours underneath the back of it so itll level out. Yes Im aware theyre supposed to lean back slightly. Very upset with my purchase. I have an lg dishwasher that Im perfectly happy with. I feel they scraped these together in a pinch during the shipping issues. I definitely dont keep them on display at my local Home Depot anymore. Ive owned it for about 4 months I would say. I havent had the time to return it.

Wow it was love at first sight I walked straight to it looked it over perfect color matched my fridge and perfect size to fit in the small space next to my fridge. I opened the door right amount of storage space and 10-year warranty. My LG single door freezer was just what I needed.

I bought this product in November last year. I always had the chest model. I was always throwing food away because you could never tell what was on the bottom of the chest. I love that I can now just open the door and see everything in the freezer. Its a little bit smaller than my old freezer chest but I could not be more pleased.

I have been using my freezer for about a month now. I love it Quiet efficient and wish I had bought two of them especially when prices keep going up: buy today and save tomorrow What I do is freeze everything in my regular freezer and transfer to this one so it just maintains instead of having it do all the work. Im going to go get a foot vacuum sealer now. This is an awsome beautiful freezer

We received this freezer as a promotion when we bought a new LG fridge. The shelves are not adjustable it isnt frost-free and it doesnt have a light. However it suits our needs for additional freezer space. I wouldnt recommend it as a stand-alone purchase but is fine as a promotion.
